1. Information we collect
Account and contact information
We may collect names, email addresses, account credentials, and workspace details needed to operate the Services and communicate with you.
Google user data
When you choose to connect Google Calendar, we request read-only access via the Google OAuth scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly. With your authorization, we may access:
- Your Google account email associated with the connected calendar
- Calendar metadata and event details (such as titles, descriptions, start/end times, attendees, and related fields returned by the Google Calendar API)
- OAuth tokens required to maintain the connection and refresh access
We do not request write access to your Google Calendar. Connecting Google is optional and used only when you explicitly authorize it.
Microsoft user data
When you choose to connect Microsoft Calendar, we may request access to calendar and profile data through Microsoft OAuth, including scopes such as calendar read and write permissions needed to sync, display, and update your events. With your authorization, we may access:
- Your Microsoft account email associated with the connected calendar
- Calendar metadata and event details (such as titles, descriptions, start/end times, attendees, and related fields returned by the Microsoft Graph API)
- OAuth tokens required to maintain the connection and refresh access
Connecting Microsoft Calendar is optional and used only when you explicitly authorize it.
Usage and technical data
We may collect logs, device/browser information, IP addresses, and diagnostic data needed to secure and improve the Services.
2. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services
- Sync, display, and help you manage and customize Google and Microsoft Calendar events inside Jiracoders
- Authenticate connections and maintain calendar sync sessions
- Provide customer support and respond to requests
- Protect against abuse, fraud, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
3. How we use Google and Microsoft user data
Calendar data from Google and Microsoft is used solely to provide user-facing calendar features in Jiracoders—specifically to help you view, manage, customize, and organize your events and schedules. We do not use Google or Microsoft user data for advertising, credit decisions, or unrelated analytics products.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. How we store and protect information
We store OAuth tokens and synced calendar data on secured systems with access controls appropriate to the sensitivity of the data. Data is transmitted using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS). Access to Google and Microsoft user data is limited to systems and personnel who need it to operate, support, or secure the Services.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell Google or Microsoft user data. We do not share Google or Microsoft user data with third parties for advertising, data brokering, or independent commercial use. We may share information only:
- With service providers who help us host, operate, or secure the Services, under confidentiality and limited-purpose obligations
- When required by law, regulation, or legal process
- To protect the rights, safety, and security of Jiracoders, our users, or the public
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to continued protections consistent with this policy
- With your direction or consent
6. Data retention and deletion
We retain Google and Microsoft Calendar tokens and synced event data only as long as needed to provide the connected calendar features, or as required for security, legal, or operational purposes. You may disconnect Google Calendar from within the product (or revoke access in your Google Account permissions). After disconnection, we stop new access and delete or de-authorize stored tokens and related synced calendar data according to our retention practices, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate security needs. You may also disconnect Microsoft Calendar from within the product or revoke access through your Microsoft account.
To request deletion of your personal data, email azuresphere7@gmail.com.
7. Your choices
- You can decline to connect Google or Microsoft Calendar and still use other parts of the Services where available.
- You can revoke Google or Microsoft access at any time from your respective account settings.
- You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you.
8. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes that affect how we use Google or Microsoft user data will be disclosed before those new uses begin, and we will obtain consent where required.
